Annual Fall Festival Planning in Full Swing

Carnival rides are back at the Assumption Fall Festival, Saturday, Oct. 4 from 2-11PM and Sunday, Oct. 5 from 11AM-5PM. Save the date and be sure to join us for one of our biggest fundraisers of the year.

We will be selling $45 Carnival ride wristbands for adults and children, Saturday, Aug. 9 and Sunday, Aug. 10 after all Masses. Help us spread the news! The entertainment company, Fountain City Amusements (fountaincityamusements.com) will only allow us to sell ride tickets on the day of the event, so be sure to purchase your wristbands in August.

In addition to a mega sandwich stand, we will be serving $16 dinners all weekend long!

Saturday: Pork Steak Dinner start at 4PM until we sell out.

Sunday: Chicken Dinner featuring HOBOS famous fried chicken starts at 11AM until sold out.

Back by popular demand, Whiskey Bent will be the headliner band entertaining us from 6:30-10:30PM on Saturday night. New this year, the Blue Moon Blues Band with Kent Ehrhardt will be playing from 1-4PM on Sunday afternoon.

A shout out to Woodruff Roofing and Exterior for securing our first Festival Event Sponsorship―thank you! As a festival sponsor, companies have the opportunity to get in front of thousands in the O’Fallon community during the two-day event. We are still looking for a couple of captains to head the Kids Games area, so please let us know if you can help. We are praying someone steps up.

We are also looking for donations of bottles of liquor for our Booze and Bucks Bags! Please drop them off at the Parish Office during regular office hours, Monday – Thursday, 8AM-4PM and Friday, 8AM-2PM (during the summer). 

Please keep us in mind when you are doing summer cleaning, we are looking for (NEW or VERY GENTLY USED) items to resell at our Country Store, Décor and More festival booths this year. These items are 100 percent profit for the Parish, and your donations are kindly needed. You may place the donations in the plastic totes located in the pre-function area of the Parish Center starting July 27, or you can make arrangements with Sue Snyder at 314-496-7790.

Mega Raffle is going to be huge this year with seven winners and a $15,000 top prize! Stay tuned for all the details.
