TRAFFIC ALERT

The O’Fallon Main Street Phase 3 project begins Monday, October 19, and will last approximately 9 months. Traffic will be down to one lane in each direction on Main Street between City Hall and St. Joseph Avenue, so please allow for additional travel time while driving along Main Street to and from Assumption Church and School.

The City is also creating new parking options for Assumption, including additional parking on Mary Street and a new lot for the Knights of Columbus at the southeast corner of Third and Park streets. Construction began last week and is anticipated to take about one month.

These new spaces will replace parking affected by the upcoming roundabout at Main and Third streets. During the project’s first phase, the Chapel parking lot is planned to remain fully accessible from the southwest side of the Third Street intersection. Parking reductions will occur only when construction needs reach that area.
