Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish is hosting its annual Quilts of Valor - Eastern Missouri event on Tuesday, June 23 from 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM in the Parish Center. Quilters from 10 surrounding counties, including St. Charles, Lincoln, Warren, Pike, St. Louis, Jefferson, Gasconade, Montgomery, Franklin and Calloway are invited to join us as we honor Missouri veterans.

Hosted by the Assumption Quilters and the O’Fallon Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary #2269, participants attending this special hand-quilting event will be stitching together several quilts throughout the day, stopping for lunch and a short ceremony to honor veterans with their own special hand-made quilt.

Quilts of Valor Eastern Missouri is a non-profit group that makes and presents quilts to military veterans. We meet 2 or 3 times a month to hand quilt, and we are looking for additional quilters. If you miss the Assumption event, please consider joining us for additional quilting events through October. Here is a list of dates and locations.
